How old: 1928, Re built 7 yrs ago.

Story: Kunnappa Nayak built it and maintained it initially.

This temple in 18 months, ground floor contains a meditation hall, yoga class above it, Garbhagudi, Rajagopura 74 feet, Vimana Gopura 64 feet, Dwajasthambha 64 feet.

Specialties: Females who are not married or don’t have kids, do a vratha for 90 days, women tie a mangalya, coconut uralu seve, lemon deepa, and tie a rakshe to hand on Friday.

Jatre which is 85 yr old even now goes on regularly every year.

Kids who cant speak come here, pears a lemon on trishula, then the lemon juice on the  trishula is used to write OM on the kids tongue by the poojari. This cures speech disorders.

Story: There used to be a ground where labourers used to come and drink water from the pot kept to a side of the ground and worship an idol of Anjanyia which was found on the ground {Bayalu}. People used to celebrate Ramanavami. Then people gathered and built a temple.

Daily Pooja: Ghantaradhene, Abhishekha, Alankara, Mahamangalarathi.

Other Specialties: Different Alankara for different gods:- Beneay or Butter for Anjanyia Balaji and Ganesha. Pushpalankara for all gods, Special Tomala seve for Lord Balaji, Vadamala Kajayia alankara and  Yelehara, Ganesha- Gandhalankara, Lakshmi- Benay and Haladi and Kumkumalankara.
